November 2002 I am trying not to get discouraged by my slow progress! Life has been "getting in the way". All the walls and ceilings are papered (including the turret tower room and turret ceiling). The roof dormers are on! You can see my experimental placement of the bathroom fixtures. The back of the toilet is in the opening that the dormer creates. Dormers are handy that way! |

Most of the windows are now in, but not trimmed on the inside. The foyer floor is in. It is a faux finished laser cut wooden floor from Renee Kutcher's Private Collection. I'll show a close-up detail shot of it later. It is beautiful. The floor is glued to poster board and taped in place with double stick tape for easy removal if I need to get to the wiring. To do next: the rest of the floors. Then the base and ceiling moldings and interior doors. Then the trim around the windows (inside). That will mostly complete the interior and then I will start the shingling and gingerbread ornamentation of the the exterior.
